    COVID-19 UPDATE 29/05/2020
The Scottish Canoe Association are maintaining a COVID-19 RESOURCE HUB on their website.
This is the SCA detailed guidance regarding Canoe Club Activity as of 28/05/2020:
    Club activity
This cannot take place in Phase 1 as this phase only allows up to two households to paddle together. A maximum of eight people can meet from up to two households at any one time. Additionally members of a household should only meet with one other household per day. Club facilities should remain closed and there should be no group paddling or club activity. Information about the reopening of clubs and centres in later phases will be shared as it becomes available
    In line with this guidance:
    • All OCC Paddling and Paddling Related Activities remain suspended.
    • OCC Membership Fees for this year – 2020/2021 – remain suspended.
We are sorry this is happening but continue to consider it to be the right thing to do.
The club committee are meeting the last, Wednesday of every month via video link to review the situation in relation to Scottish Government and Scottish Canoe Association advice, guidance and directives. The next committee meeting is set for, Wednesday 27/06/2020. We aim to post the next update on the Friday following that meeting, Friday 29/06/2020.
